Massimiliano "Max" Benassi is a former Italian professional goalkeeper known for his experience in the Italian football leagues and his expertise in goalkeeper training. Born on October 11, 1981, in Italy, Benassi developed his skills in the competitive landscape of Italian football, establishing himself as a reliable and experienced shot-stopper.

Benassi’s professional playing career spanned across several Italian clubs, where he demonstrated strong reflexes, leadership, and consistency between the posts. He played in Serie A, B and C, representing clubs such as Lecce, Sassuolo, Arezzo, Perugia, and Juve Stabia, among others. His career was marked by resilience and a deep understanding of goalkeeping techniques, which later became the foundation of his coaching career.

Following his retirement from professional football, Benassi transitioned into coaching, specializing in goalkeeper development. His extensive playing experience allows him to mentor young goalkeepers with a focus on technical precision, tactical awareness, and mental strength. He has worked with elite youth academies and teams, sharing his knowledge with the next generation of goalkeepers.

Benassi is now recognized not only for his playing career but also for his role in shaping young talents through specialized training programs. His dedication to the game continues as he mentors aspiring goalkeepers, helping them reach their highest potential.
